CHAPTER 2 : THE WALK
As the necklace clock shimmered, Mam saw it then she pick it up to
see it’s so dirty and thought the siblings might be stealing from other
peoples or pick it up on the dirty ground where people accidentally drop it. She called three of the siblings to warn them about the necklace clock.
‘which one of you took this necklace clock?’ Mam asked with one brow raised in suspicion. Starze and Starlya points Starey who looked innocent. ‘don’t worry, Mam. I found it near the tree that was so big! You know how big it is? SOOO BIG!!!! It looked mysterious though and, and i wondered what is there so I lead the three of us to go there. It was so much fun to see in there! It’s beautiful too! See it for yourself, Mam’ Starey explained fast and animated in full excitement but then she stopped as she finished talking fast. ‘ya, Mam! It’s beautiful there but tiring too!’ Starze adding in. ‘I want to go there again but I’m tired after all that chores!!!’ Starlya groaned as she flopped on the sofa that was green in colour.
‘Mam, why don’t you go with us tomorrow to show you where we got
it??? Please???????’ Starey and Starze asked hoping that Mam will.
‘sighs OK, but after you three don’t all chores’ Mam agreed. ‘OK, Mam!
We keep that as a promise! Don’t worry!’ Starey promised. As Starlya
heard that tomorrow they are going to the forest again, she falls downfrom the sofa then she felt embarrassed.
THE NEXT DAY LATER…
In the morning, the three of them wake up
early then they done all chores like they’ve promised but it rained
about a day. The siblings waited for tomorrow. Until the next day, they
do like yesterday but Mam was busy with the laundry, which they should wait. The next day they done everything faster but still in home. The next year later, Starey is unofficially 12, Starze is
unofficially 10 and Starlya is unofficially 9. Starey frustrated she looked at the window while pressing her face againts the window. Starze is
getting bored of waiting so he went to the kitchen to eat snacks of
whatever there is. Starlya was a bit too bored so she grabbed Mam’s blue smartphone and played games there.
Will they remind their Mam about the walk? Will Mam have free time to be with the siblings?
