CHAPTER 3 : THE CHORES
The time when the three siblings grumbled and frustrated of being locked in the house from adventuring with Mam and Dad for chore-reasons and weather-reasons, the siblings went to the Sister’s Room to plan something to make the parents agree to go on an adventure together with them.
‘let’s help them to do all the chores even if it feels boring. Just think about the results…’ Starey suggested with full optimism. Starze shakes his head left-right in not-agree ‘what if it rains! Mam and Dad will not be going to go in the rain especially when it’s to heavy rain’ ‘yeah! Who wants to go on an adventure under the rain? No one!’ Starlya argued. ‘no, no, no, no, no, I’m sure they will even if it rains we still can go, we have our umbrellas and raincoats, right??? Besides, Starlya can use her cuteness to make them agree all at once and Starze can… Can… Umm… Help do all the chores! But not all. We have to work together to finish the chores and we have to think optimistically so that we can go to adventure with the family of 5!!!’ Starey explains happily hoping her younger siblings agree with her suggestion. Then all agree after they fully understood it and think of it.
They went downstairs and do all the chores like do all the laundries, wash the plates, clean the clothes, vacuum the floor and rug and all chores as everyone knows it.
After they’ve done all the chores, they went to look at the window at the same time pressing their adorable face against the window while they squeezed to look at the same time. ‘it’s not raining like you said it, Starey! Good thinking’ said Starlya her voice muffled. ‘now we can go on an adventure!!!’ Starze said excitedly while he unpressed his face against the window.
They ran to remind their parents about the walk and adventure together but their parents still had a lot of works to do. ‘tell us what is that work and so we can help to do with it. I’m sure we can do it!’ Starey asked trying to help their parents to do the work that their parents said it’s hard and very a lot. ‘no, Starey. If you three do it, you might make a mistake on it. Even a little mistake can make things worst’ Mam explained to the three of them. ‘So you don’t want to go on an adventures with us, right?’ Starlya asked while she pretends to sob. ‘yes, we will. But after we done our works’ Mam cheers Starlya up as she knew Starlya was just pretending because no tear drop was drop or came out from her eye or eyes. ‘But…’ ‘But I’m sure we can do it without any mistakes. I’m sure! I’m sure my siblings knows it even if we just know it because we learn differently, please we help you do that work? Please?????? We won’t make any mistakes if you tell us what’s the work about’ Starey cuts Starze’s speech of but ‘HEY! I was about to say that! But thanks, by the way’ he smirked mischievously. Then Mam begins to explain the work about.
‘it’s all about your school. New teachers too, new class and there might be a new student. But you three must be aware of any bullies, understood!?’ ‘understood! Understood! Understood’ the three of them chanted.
‘I don’t like schools. I’d prefer home than school’ Starey thought while she draws on a piece of very white pretty paper on her desk.
After dinner, the siblings do all the chores again then they play video games that has multiplayer. They play Minetest together. The golden necklace shimmered even brighter than yesterday after the siblings washed it carefully and keep it carefully. The necklace clock remains untouched on that day.
